Great article. I stopped writing on Medium for the same reasons. I used to write two articles per day and haven't written one in months. From a monetization standpoint, you're hoping one of your articles takes off and compensates for all of the others that will not take off, unless you have a converting offer at the bottom of each article. I get freelance writing opportunities from LinkedIn and have a client backlog. If creators do not like the opportunity or what the platform has become, they will walk away.
